These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, software, and tools provided by Flarelight Limited ("Flarelight", "we", "us", or "our"), including our cloud platform, OnPrem licences, and free tools. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you may not use our services.


1. Services Provided

Flarelight provides the following offerings:

  • Cloud Subscriptions – Hosted in Microsoft Azure, with tenant data stored in the selected region.
  • OnPrem Licences – Subscription-based licences for on-premises deployments.
  • Free Tools – Add-ins for Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a community node for n8n. These are provided free of charge and "as-is, without warranty". We may modify or discontinue them at any time.

Each tenant is provisioned with its own database to ensure data separation.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

  • Anyone may sign up for an account; use is not limited to businesses.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You may not use the services for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.

3. Subscriptions, Licences, and Renewals

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions and licences automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually), unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel at any time, but cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for early termination.
  • Grace Period:
    • Monthly subscriptions: 7 days

    • Annual subscriptions: 14 days

    During this period, access is maintained. After expiry, tenant databases and data are permanently deleted.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed via Stripe and Microsoft AppSource. By providing payment information, you authorize Flarelight and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method.

5. Data Residency and Protection

  • Cloud subscriptions are hosted on Microsoft Azure. You select a region for data residency at purchase.
  • User and subscription account information is stored in the EU, regardless of selected region.
  • Account Deletion:
    • You can delete your account in the Control Centre, provided you have no active subscriptions.
    • Deleting your account removes your personal data, databases (if not already deleted), and removes you from tenants you do not own.
    • Your email address may remain in tenant audit logs for compliance purposes if the tenant is still active.

7. AI Features

Flarelight provides AI-powered features such as description generation, error explanation, data preparation configuration, report configuration, and report insights.

  • Data Usage:
    • Metadata (not raw data) is used for description, error, and configuration features.
    • Rendered reports (aggregated data widgets) may be processed for insights.
    • The AI models are deployed in the region you select.
  • Disclaimer: AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate. They are provided as guidance only. You remain solely responsible for all business and analytical decisions based on AI outputs.

8. Service Availability

We use Azure Premium services and aim to provide high service availability. However, Flarelight does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Services are provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the services, including software, documentation, and branding, remains the property of Flarelight or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services in accordance with these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Flarelight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
  • Flarelight's total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to Flarelight in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Free tools are provided without warranties of any kind and on an "as-is" basis.

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
  • Upon termination or non-renewal, your access will cease and your data will be deleted after the applicable grace period.

12. Changes to Terms

Flarelight may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or via email. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
